Invent Software has added a number of new features to its free i-map X mortgage processing technology.

It says they are designed to ensure users are 100% TCF compliant.

The free-to-use system, which can be accessed remotely from any computer, now provides users with an automatic alert system flagging-up cases that are likely to fail to meet preset TCF guidelines. A red, amber or green colour quickly tells brokers or packagers the TCF status of each case and all ‘red’ cases are given individual prominence until they are satisfactorily addressed.

Additionally, i-map X now allows users to upload and view documents and case track online from wherever they are. A new data import facility permits data stored on legacy systems to be transferred over to i-map-X.

Steve Best, managing director of Invent Software, said: “We are committed to continue development of the software based on the feedback received from our growing user base, so we now have a number of new features that include this TCF suite. These latest changes make it the industry’s leading processing tool but, unlike other systems, it is all free.”

I-map X - originally launched in October 2008 and used by over 500 mortgage intermediaries - now includes: data integration with Trigold; processing for secured loans, commercial mortgages, insurance & investment products (as well as mortgages); management reporting; marketing; and task management.

Best added: “The system is particularly good for minimizing admin time because it can be accessed from a laptop while staff are on the road. This means they have no excuse for not keeping fully up to date with paperwork. They can log in anywhere at any time and have a complete picture of the business and view all documents relating to any case.”
